Thanks fellas. Didn't the Beatles consider 64 to be very old? OAP next stop. It will take me until then to figure out how to work the HD digital camcorder I got this morning. Fabulous cake, Chuck, did you bake it yourself?

Thanks Guys , very much indeed for all the Birthday Greetings !

I've not been too well recently , and all this week I've been down with the flu , my doc says it's normal "Winter Flu" , but I (who always knows best!) think it's Spanish Flu , or Swine Flu !  I seem to have the symptoms to fit any damn flu illness !  Just feel absolutely yuk!

Anyway , you all cheered me up immensely with your greetings yesterday , as not one person from my diminishing family remembered it at all !  Not even my sister in Scotland !

( Twisted Evil Thinks ........  I wonder if I should change my Will ?  Bet she would remember it very quickly then!)

I have not heard a word at all from the UK Pensions people , after them acknowledging my query numerous times a few months ago .  I printed out the form , filled it out in ink , and posted it to them months ago , and at the same time I filled out the "ON-LINE" Version , and sent that off too .  Between then and now , I had a big problem with my PC , and I lost a lot of e-mails , so I am wondering if they got it at all ?  Luckily , in the Postal version , I did not include my rather delicate Birth Certificate .

Idea So on last Tuesday (21-07-2009), I filled out another "ON-LINE" Claims Version , also explaining that I will not send my Birth Certificate via the Post , but can supply them with a Government Certified Copy of it .  ........... No response as yet !

I never dreamt that I would ever reach Pension age , and a while ago I did one of those "When are you going to die?" on line questionnaires , and found out that if I filled it out honestly , I died 35 years ago !   Rolling Eyes

By the way Chuck , I was just looking at that beautiful cake that Jan baked for Tony on his Birthday !  Do you know the difference between STRAWBERRIES and RASPBERRIES ?   Shocked

Hopefully I will eventually get over this sickening bout of flu , and all being well , I hope to get back to work again soon , but on a more of a part time basis .

Cheers ,

MONTY.

Hi Monty,

Sorry to hear you are feeling unwell, especially on your birthday. Hope you recover soon. If it is pig flu the medical experts in the UK say it is not too bad and only lasts a week.

I told Jan strawberries too- thouht they tasted funny.
