A few of the lads had a day out at the Battle of Britain Flight this week. John Rogerson, Pete Wallace, Baz Hayman and Alic Prior met up with Jack Hawkins who gave them the grand tour.
One of the highlights was seeing the old RAF Locking 'gate guardian' (above) which used to be on the plinth near the main gate when we were there. It has now been restored and is back flying.

May I use the Spit photo Not commercially ??

Peter Wallace was travelling through the area yesterday en route to Scotland.
So met up for a nose bag along with Brian Cockayne and our wives.
Much lamp swinging as usual!!
