I have created a 3D model of the WSM Beach Club interior, thanks to inputs from Chuck and Jan. After 40 odd years, memories may be a little faded and so any contribution from the rest of you would be appreciated. There are a few snap shots in the photo gallery here http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k233/raflocking/Maps/3D/ (I have modified the outside steps since then), but if you want to look at the model interactively in 3D then look here http://100th2.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/BeachClub/BeachClub.html . You will be prompted to download a plug-in viewer which will enable your browser to display the 3D model. This is similar to the type of thing you need to download to view Flash or other types of non-standard images / videos etc. I have downloaded it and have not had any problems, but it's up to you.

Once the viewer is intalled, the scene takes a few seconds to load (on broadband). All you have to do then is move around the model with your mouse:

- hold down the left mouse button and drag to rotate the model in any axis.

- hold down the right mouse button and drag to pan the model up/down and left/right.

- hold down BOTH mouse buttons simultaneously and drag to zoom in/out.

You can view the scene from any angle, 'walk' through it and zoom right in to the smallest detail.

The web page displays a control panel at the bottom with full instructions. Let me know if this works (or not) for you as there is potential for other models in the future.

This is what you should see in your browser...

No probs about providing input Tony. But as you say, after such a long time the ole memory might not be that accurate. Model very impressive- nice job.
