It has been suggested that we should have a section in this forum for 100th Entry members' wives and partners. Although they are all welcome to join in the main forum topics, maybe a section of their own would allow discussion on topics of their choice such as, possibly, ‘what do you remember of apprentices in Weston’; ‘dances and functions’; ‘stories from married quarters’; ‘life on overseas bases’, etc. This section could be 'open' or members only, or even nominated members only.

So, does anyone (particuarly wives and partners) have any thoughts on the idea? Suggestions here please, or email me.

I personally think that it is a good idea Tony, but would our members give their wives or partners permission to contribute?

Wives or partners can register on the forum in their own right and can have their own forum access permissions; they don't need to log in through an existing 100th member's account. However any personal arrangements that couples might have between themselves is a matter for them.

Sorry you took my note seriously! Twas a jest. Just reviving memories of the good old days when the female of the species were subservient and obedient and never did anything without permision of the Head of the Household!

I just checked with my good lady and she said it is ok for me to write to you about this.
